This is a pre-owned authentic “Omaisen” folding fan, handcrafted by the renowned Kyoto atelier Jumatsuya Fukui (十松屋福井).
The fan features an elegant Waves and Clouds design, painted on a shimmering silver and gold foil base, symbolizing the harmony of sea and sky — a recurring theme in classical Japanese aesthetics.

Each side of the fan presents a distinct motif:

• Front: flowing waves in gold ink

• Back: drifting clouds rendered in graceful brushwork

Originally designed for traditional Japanese dance (Nihon Buyo) and stage performances, this fan now serves beautifully as an art collectible or interior display piece.
